Sicily is very famous all around the world for its wine production. Many Sicilian wine have been awarded in the last ten years as the best wines of the world at Vinitaly fair (Verona). Mt. Etna is well known as a wine production area due to his extremely fertile soil since the 8th century BC when the first greek settlers arrived.

Follow our tour leader car to discovery the Etna wine roads.
You will drive one of our fantastic Classic Convertible Fiat 500 across the wineyards and cellars on the slopes of the highest volcano of Europe. Enjoy the tastes of the Sicilian wine !

A journey through the lush countryside of Sicily, between the traditional stone walls of black lava rock, among the old peasant houses, farms and the sumptuous villas of the nobles of the past. The road goes through the citrus orchards and small villages, unique churches, squares, buildings and landscapes, near Mount Etna.

Is a little nice typical sicilian village between Mount Etna and the Alcantara River, surrounded by chestnut oak and nuts woods. It was founded by the greeks on the peak of a mount and used to be a Norman castle to avoid the pirates during the Middle Ages.

Alcantara River Park - Alcantara Gorges
Several thousand years ago, the river bed was blocked by a lava flow from Mount Etna. Over the centuries the river dig a channel through the basalt columns, resulting in impressive gorges and ravines such as the "Gole dell'Alcantara" that
are considered one of the most beautiful gorges of Sicily.
